As we close out the year, Corvus is proud to spotlight a dedicated and hardworking Franchise Owner, Mr. Erick DePaz of Corvus of Northwest Arkansas. Since launching his business in 2017, Mr. DePaz has demonstrated unwavering commitment and excellence, growing his business steadily over the past seven years. His meticulous approach, strong work ethic, and deep care for his customers have made him a standout in the Corvus community.

This season of gratitude, Corvus is thrilled to spotlight Ms. Diana Ordonez, a rising star from Corvus of San Antonio. Ms. Ordonez opened her franchise in April of this year, and in just a few short months, she has achieved remarkable success, becoming the second overall franchisee in San Antonio.

A Family Legacy of Excellence

The janitorial industry is in Ms. Ordonez’s blood. From a young age, she was exposed to the business as her father owned a janitorial franchise. It became a family tradition, with multiple members branching out to own their own cleaning businesses. This foundation gave Ms. Ordonez the skills and drive to excel quickly in her own venture.

This October, as we embrace the spooky season, Corvus is thrilled to spotlight Ms. Yolanda Mesa of Corvus of Louisville! Ms. Mesa launched her business with Corvus in November 2020, and she has been a superstar Franchise Owner ever since. In her four years with Corvus, Ms. Mesa has become the “go-to Franchise Owner” for the Louisville office, expertly managing up to sixteen accounts at a time. Whether it’s a last-minute clean or an account with exceptionally high standards, Ms. Mesa always delivers top-notch results. As we head into the fall season, Corvus is overjoyed to spotlight Ms. Laura Torres of Little Rock! Ms. Torres has been a dedicated Franchise Owner with Corvus of Little Rock since 2013—what an incredible achievement! Over the years, she has been named Franchisee of the Month for Little Rock twice, first in January 2020 and again in June 2024.

A Commitment to Excellence

Shayna Hula of Corvus of Little Rock praises Ms. Torres for her tireless work ethic and the pride she takes in servicing her accounts. “She is a hard worker and takes pride in cleaning her accounts. All of her accounts love her cleaning. One customer even signed an increase because she was the best they’ve ever had and he couldn’t lose her,” Hula shares.

Ms. Torres’s dedication extends beyond her own business; she has generously helped other franchise owners by training them and even translating for them. She’s become well known for her signature toilet-cleaning motto: “Scrub the toilets until they bubble.”

A Legacy of Success

Thanks to her hard work and success with her Corvus franchise, Ms. Torres has accomplished remarkable personal milestones. She has been able to purchase three homes, four vehicles, and has traveled to spend time with her 13 grandchildren.

Words of Wisdom for Aspiring Business Owners

When asked for advice to share with other business owners, Ms. Torres emphasizes the importance of relationships and diligence. “Make friends and build relationships with your contact in each account,” she advises. She also highlights the importance of thoroughness when expanding, saying, “When you are ready to expand your business, make sure you are doing a background check on anyone you are interested in hiring. Once you have expanded, make sure you are constantly checking in and going out to your accounts to make sure they are doing a good job.”

This August, we are thrilled to spotlight Ms. Denise Gonzalez, a shining star in the Corvus of Columbus community. Ms. Gonzalez is one half of the dynamic duo behind Jennifer’s Best Cleaning, LLC, which she operates alongside her husband, Mr. Paulino Gonzalez. The couple launched their business with Corvus in 2020, during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Although Mr. Ruiz has been with Corvus for less than two years, his 34 years of experience in facility maintenance have enabled him to build a strong and successful business.

Mr. Ruiz’s business boasts a large capacity, with crews capable of handling a wide range of cleaning needs, including floor work, carpet care, window cleaning, and post-construction cleaning, among many other services.
